Frankenstein

Logan is walking more and more. He's doing great but looks a bit like Frankenstein.

Pony Tail

Image
Leah's hair is finally long enough to pull up. Unfortunately, I don't have any little cute ties for her hair so I had to use one of mine. She sat still as I wrapped it around and around and around... Her first pony tail.

Boys and Dogs

There is just something about boys and dogs. The babies all love Missy and are starting to play with her more. Logan likes to give her kisses. The photo was incredibly over exposed...but I love it.

First Haircut

Image
The boys had their first haircut on Sunday. The haircuts didn't go quite as I expected. I envisioned sitting them down, taking great before and after pictures, and in general making it a big event. After a few weeks of talking about cutting their hair and it not happening because it didn't fit into our schedule, I ended up cutting their hair after their bath on Sunday. I took the boys up one at a time for their bath. Then after they were clean I had them stand next to the tub playing with the toys and the lotion tube (which they never get). They were a little curious about what I was doing behind their heads. I stopped occasionally to show them the scissors and they would go back to work. I have to say, I did a pretty good job for my first attempt at cutting wiggly 13 month old's hair. I saved a bit of their hair and recorded the date. I at least was able to do that even though it wasn't a big production. I trimmed Leah's bangs a week or so ago and saved those to...

Spring

Image
We found a little bit of spring.  The last few days have been sunny and in the mid 60's. I really hope the trend continues and we don't get the predicted flurries next week.

Fish

Image
The babies tried their first fish the other day and absolutely loved it. Well, gold fish to be exact. They won't be having actual fish for a while because of my allergy. So for now they are enjoying the cheesy kind. Ethan makes the cutest giggly excited noise while eating the fish. Leah, who usually doesn't stuff her mouth, shoved the 3 fish on her tray into her mouth without any delay. Logan passed up his cheerios and other food and went right for the fish. Here fishy fishy fishy... Logan Ethan Leah

Spring Forward

We did it, now where is spring? Sunday wasn't just pi day (π, 3.14159265) we also lost an hour. In the fall I prepared for the time change by adjusting the babies schedule by 15 minutes for a few days leading up to the change. This time I did noting and was a bit scared they wouldn't go to sleep. They were champs! We didn't change the clocks in the house 'till 3pm. We gave them their 4pm snack (sippy of milk & graham cracker) at 4:30pm, dinner at it's usual time (6pm), and I had them all in bed by 8pm. I could hear them talking a bit in their beds, which isn't typical, but they quickly went to sleep. Then this morning they were all up at the usual 6:30am. I couldn't believe now smoothly it all went. I wish I could adjust so easily...Zzzz
