Brotherly Love

Image
Today was Eric's morning to sleep in. We take turns on the weekend getting a little extra much needed sleep. So this morning I got up with the babies. We had fun playing...well I had fun playing and taking pictures. There's nothing like a brother to steam roller you and smash your face. While we were playing I put the boys in the toy bucket with a few of their toys to see what they would do. They didn't mind sitting in the bucket with their toys, just something new and fun to explore. They always enjoy playing with the bucket as much as the toys. They are mobile enough now that they can make their way over to it and dump all the toys out and play with the box. Ethan wants the big toy in the bucket Logan in the bucket Ethan in the bucket Meanwhile Leah was busy examining her toys. She loves to hold them and turn them around in her hands to get a good look. If she's not examining them she's clapping them together to make noise. Leah examining the rat...

Thank You Ethan - Preventing N1H1

I know Ethan was just looking out for mommy by getting up 6 times last night. He just wanted to make sure I drank plenty of hot liquids (coffee) to flush away the germs in my body. (See #6 below) Logan and Leah were also doing their part, sleeping through the night, ensuring that mommy kept her sanity. I recently received some great info on ways to stay healthy and avoid the N1H1 (Swine) Flu. Prevent Swine Flu - Good Advice Dr. Vinay Goyal is an MBBS,DRM,DNB (Intensivist and Thyroid specialist) having clinical experience of over 20 years. Apple Orchard

Image
Last weekend we made our way to the Apple Orchard. The plan was to have a snack, take pictures with the pumpkins and walk around to look at the animals. We had a nice surprise when we got there. My parents were 2 tables over enjoying their own cider and doughnuts. So they came over and joined us with their snack. Then we all took the babies out to sit with the pumpkins. Unfortunately, it was a bit too chilly out for walking around much. It was only 45 degrees out and overcast. I was chilled and the babies weren't their usual happy self, so we packed up and went home. I was able to get a few pumpkin pictures and took more after we got home with our pumpkin. After sitting for a bit with the pumpkins, Logan decided they would be fun to lick Logan and Mommy Leah and Daddy Logan and Grandma Rosie and Grandpa Ethan Leah Logan Logan & Ethan Leah

I was reviewing my september photo folder of the babies and noticed I took around 500 pictures last month. In the typical family the first baby tends to have lots of pictures. So naturally I will have 3x the quantity of first baby pictures. In an alternate universe where I only had one baby at a time, I'd probably have taken just as many pictures or more. I can only assume with one child that I'd drag them all over the place (actually leave the house) and take pictures where ever we went, like the park or the backyard. Now that the leaves are starting to change colors around her I've noticed all the pretty piles of yellow leaves on the ground, the pretty red bushes in contrast to the green grass and gray boulders, I can't help day dreaming about taking pictures. My photo day dreaming didn't stop once I was back in our house. I was walking around seeing neat spots to stick the babies for pictures. I ended up setting them on the wood floor in the foyer next to the wal...

Tooth Update

3 Teeth for Leah, one of her top teeth popped through last night 2 Teeth for Ethan, he's working on his top teeth 1 Tooth for Logan, he's working on his second bottom tooth 3 Really crabby babies

8 Months

Image
My little pumpkins will be 8 months old tomorrow. I had a lot of fun yesterday dressing them up and taking pictures. I definitely needed the fun to offset the crabby teething babies. We had a nice beak from sore teeth for a bit but now it's back. They are all still their fun happy selves, it just takes less to set them off, plus it wakes them up at night. At just about 8 months now, the babies are all rolling/scooting around, but not yet fully crawling. They all like to babble ma ma ma ma, and ba ba ba ba. We're still working on da da da da, but that one just makes the boys giggle. Here are my pumpkins...
