2 Weeks old

Image
I can't believe the babies are already 2 weeks old! They had a busy day yesterday with their second trip to the doctors office to get checked out. They all look great and are gaining weight, but Leah and Logan aren't quite back up to their birth weight. Ethan 5#11.5oz Leah 5#9oz Logan 4#13oz They are so cute and developing their own personalities. Logan is laid back and is happy sleeping and likes to squeak. Ethan loves making faces and would rather be held than sleep with the other two in the afternoon. Leah likes laying in the middle and having her options for who she is going to hit next. She will scoot herself over and pop them in the face. Here are a few pictures from today while they were sleeping. Grandma and Grandpa helping out Leah and Ethan Snuggling Ethan realizing Leah is right next to him Logan happy he is off by himself resting peacefully

Our Trip Home 2-16-09

On Monday February 16th around 2 pm we were on our way home. No more nurses to watch our every move. We were on our way home, just the 5 of us. Since the babies are so small they aren't supposed to stay in their carrier for very long. So when the freeway was backed up and not moving we weren't happy. Lucky for us we were able to exit and take the service drive for a few miles to get to our exit. It was such a happy and exhausting day. Here are pictures of the babies all dressed and ready to come home, and them all snug in their car seats. Ethan Leah Logan

Happy Birthday 2-12-09

We didn't know it earlier that morning but we were going to have babies that day. We made it to the hospital and were waiting to get taken back to treash to get checked. They got me all set up in a Labor and delivery room while trying to get me admitted to the hospoital so they could roll me back for the c-section. I am all hooked up with monitors and Eric's all ready in scrubs to come watch the babies being born. There were several people people in the operating room (13 to be exact) to take care of me and the babies. They all did such a great job. The babies first picture all together. The nurses working on the babies wrote on their hats to keep them all in order while working on them Ethan (A), Leah (B), and Logan (C). Ethan Clarence 5lb 8oz 11:29am Leah Anne 5lb 10.5oz 11:30am Logan Wayne 5lb 0.1oz 11:31am

Laptop

I'm so excited the laptop is up and running again. Before having the babies I called technical support and found out that the hard drive had died. They sent a new one but I wasn't able to get everything loaded (since I was stuck upstairs). So lucky for us my brother came over to visit the babies yesterday and was willing to look at it for me. Yaaa we are back up and running. So my goal for today is to get caught up with all the pictures...enjoy

Day 2 Home

Yesterday was a big day. We all made it home on their previously scheduled birthday. I guess they had plans of their own. I'm so happy we made it as far as we did and they are all doing so well. I can't believe how good they all are. We are still getting the hang of nursing but they will take the bottle like champs and lay back down to sleep for a couple hours before we have to start the whole feeding process again. We have been very lucky so far that we have so much family around that have been able to help us. It would be very rough with out them. (thanks!!!) We took a bunch of cute pictures yesterday, I'll try and get them posted.

And then there were 3

Just got some pics to add: Just to clarify, this is Tracy's husband. She wasn't able to get a computer because on thursday morning Ethans water broke around 8:30am. Since I was at work our friend Lexi drove Tracy to hospital where I met her. At that point they checked Tracy and she was 1cm dialated. Around 10am they started prepping Tracy for the C-section and by 11:29 our first baby was born, Ethan Clarence Archambeau. He was 5lbs and 8ozs and 18'' long. Next came Leah Anne Archambeau at 11:30 weighing 5lbs 10.5ozs and 17.5'' long. Finally Logan Wayne Archambeau came out at 11:31 weighing 5lbls and 18'' long. They're all health babies, 10 fingers & 10 toes and are doing great!!!! They told Tracy that she can go home either sunday or monday, it just depends on how she feels. We especially wanted to thank all of our families and friends who prayed and supported us during this time. With Tracy's dedication and family support she was able to mak...

35 Weeks

A couple weeks ago while in the hospital I was just hoping to make it to 34 weeks, and here we are at 35 weeks...only 8 more days to go. I had a doctor appointment on Friday and the babies still looked great, so it's up to me to take it easy for one more week and drink a whole bunch of water to keep the contractions away. My belly is really starting to feel heavy when I stand up and while sitting, as it rests on my legs. In all I'm still not all too uncomfortable. Yesterday was my 29th birthday. I was thinking about how people always want to reflect back and say they are still 29...I'm sure my hugeness isn't what they are imagining. I've been upstairs for the most part lately, avoiding the steps. So instead of taking my pictures in my usual spot I had to find someplace upstairs. I'm in front of the babies room door. For fun I took pictures from every angle. Hopefully I'll get one more set of pictures next week.

34 Weeks

We made it through another week without any issues (or trips to the hospital). Only 2 weeks and 1 day to go. I'm still having contractions here and there, but I'm still home!!! We decided to celebrate my Birthday a week early this year. So today our family came over for lunch and cake. We made the turkey I get as a Christmas gift from work, it was good. It's always nice to get the extra space back in the freezer. My Mom took lots of pictures and I'll have to get some from her to post later.
