6 Month Check-up

Grandma and I took the babies for their 6 month check-up this morning. We arrived a bit early so we had time to walk down the street and get some coffee. So the babies had their first trip to a coffee shop. Then after dropping Grandma off at home and with 3 sleeping babies in the car I attempted a trip to the grocery store by myself. The babies did great in the store. The only comments we got at the store were "aww how cute". I can handle that. Then it was home for lunch and a much needed nap.

The check-up went great. Everyone is looking good and healthy.

Ethan : 20 lbs 10oz and 26.5 inches
Leah: 22 lbs and 26 inches
Logan: 20 lbs 5oz and 26.5 inches

The lengths recorded in their books seem strange because Logan is shorter than the other 2...but who knows.

We just our 6 month appts. as well. However, I attempted to do this alone as well as getting their shots. Not again, I will bring help!

35 Weeks

A couple weeks ago while in the hospital I was just hoping to make it to 34 weeks, and here we are at 35 weeks...only 8 more days to go. I had a doctor appointment on Friday and the babies still looked great, so it's up to me to take it easy for one more week and drink a whole bunch of water to keep the contractions away. My belly is really starting to feel heavy when I stand up and while sitting, as it rests on my legs. In all I'm still not all too uncomfortable. Yesterday was my 29th birthday. I was thinking about how people always want to reflect back and say they are still 29...I'm sure my hugeness isn't what they are imagining. I've been upstairs for the most part lately, avoiding the steps. So instead of taking my pictures in my usual spot I had to find someplace upstairs. I'm in front of the babies room door. For fun I took pictures from every angle. Hopefully I'll get one more set of pictures next week.

Just got some pics to add: Just to clarify, this is Tracy's husband. She wasn't able to get a computer because on thursday morning Ethans water broke around 8:30am. Since I was at work our friend Lexi drove Tracy to hospital where I met her. At that point they checked Tracy and she was 1cm dialated. Around 10am they started prepping Tracy for the C-section and by 11:29 our first baby was born, Ethan Clarence Archambeau. He was 5lbs and 8ozs and 18'' long. Next came Leah Anne Archambeau at 11:30 weighing 5lbs 10.5ozs and 17.5'' long. Finally Logan Wayne Archambeau came out at 11:31 weighing 5lbls and 18'' long. They're all health babies, 10 fingers & 10 toes and are doing great!!!! They told Tracy that she can go home either sunday or monday, it just depends on how she feels. The Floor

For some reason it is just so much fun to throw food on the floor... The babies have gotten really bad over the last few days about throwing food on the floor. They will scoop up huge hand fulls of food and just chuck it. The other day I came up with a solution that seemed to work, I gave them spoons. I helped them put food on the spoon and get it into their mouths. Ethan was even picking up food and placing it on his spoon and tried to get it into his mouth. I just hope the novelty of the spoon doesn't wear off too soon, Missy (our dog) is getting a little chunky. Ethan Logan Leah
