No More Crash Test Babies

Image
The boys had their helmet check up today. Their heads have successfully rounded out in the last two months and they don't need to wear the helmets 23 hrs a day any more. We can start weaning them from the helmets at our own pace. I'm sure they won't mind having the helmets off. They have already taken them off a few times themselves. What will take take some getting used to is when they bump their heads it will actually hurts. Ethan successfully rolled in to the coffee table this evening while his helmet was off and ended up with a nice red bump. I'm sure it won't be the last bump. Nine Months

Last weekend I took the babies 9 month photos and our Christmas card photo. The stocking hasts for the Christmas card inspired me to put a bunch of different hats on the babies. Leah wasn't really enjoying all the hats, but the boys didn't mind them to much. We (I) had fun. Ethan Leah Logan Tooth Update Leah is still in the lead with 4 teeth, Logan over took Ethan and now has 3 and one about to pop through and Ethan has 2. The babies are all rolling and wiggling like crazy. The dog is no longer safe from Ethan, the boy is on the move.

9 Month Check-Up

We took the babies for their 9 month check up today. They are all doing great. Their current stats: Ethan 23lb 11oz, 90% 29.25 inches long, 80% 19 inch head circumference, 95+% percentiles on the regular unadjusted growth chart Leah 24lb 13oz, 95% 29.75 inches long, 95% 18 inch head circumference, 90% percentiles on the regular unadjusted growth chart Logan 22lb 12oz, 75% 28.75 inches long, 75% 18 inch head circumference, 70% percentiles on the regular unadjusted growth chart The babies are all big and proportionate. We are going to have to switch them out of the infant carriers and into their booster seats. The car seats (infant carriers ) go up to 30 lbs and 30 inches. They all have just about hit the height maximum for the seats. It's unfortunate they out grew their seats just in time for winter.

The Good Toy

The babies have gotten really good at sharing toys (aka stealing toys). The best toy is always the one someone else has. I was actually able to catch them passing around the same toy.

Farewell Jack

Jack (our pumpkin) was finally put to rest today (garbage day). We had many great times with Jack. We played in the hallway with him taking pictures. Logan grew quite attached and wanted to give him kisses (lick him). As it got closer to Halloween Jack entertained us with silly faces. He was even showing off just two of his bottom teeth to resemble the babies’ smiles. He gave us so much in his short time with us. He provided everyone with entertainment, companionship, and food. He gave the babies yummy pumpkin puree and me yummy seeds (daddy doesn’t like them). Jack you will be missed…till next year Here are a few pictures to help remember the fun times with Jack. Lions and Cows and Ladybugs oh my!

We had a fun first Halloween with the babies. We took them to their grandparent's houses to show off the costumes. The babies got a little warm all dressed up, but they looked cute. The rest of the day they were pumpkins.

Smiles

I actually managed to get all 3 babies to sit, look at the camera, and smile.
